Online dating. Speed dating. Singles classes. Singles bars. One would think that dating today
has become easier than ever. But it hasn't for best friends Jackie and Sam.
Opposites do attract in this platonic relationship. Together, this divorced mother and 20-something bachelor wade through life and the dating pool in their search for "the one." With Jackie's penchant for perfection and overprotective son and Sam's subpar social skills and rambunctious roommate, it's no surprise they're still Single and Looking.

About the Artist
Matt Janz began his journey into the world of cartooning in 1981 at age 11, when his local library in Franklin Park, Illinois, published a collection of his “Dumbells” [sic] cartoons. He spent his adolescent years at the drawing board, creating many comic strips and stifling any athleticism he might have had.
In 1994, Janz began the first stages of what would eventually evolve into Out of the Gene Pool and then into Single and Looking. In 2000 he was one of the first recipients of The Washington Post Writers Group's FineToon Fellowship, and he was the first “FineTooner” to be syndicated.
